Flamenco Festival: Duende!

Instituto Cervantes Chicago presents Duende as part of Chicago Flamenco Festival 2010

Lecture + Demonstration with Catalina Maria Johnson and Idilio

The presentation will be framed in the imagery of the book ‘Prohibido el cante’ - “Singing not allowed”, which takes its title from a sign that could be read in many taverns during Franco’s regime in Spain, and gathers 200 photographs by 70 international authors.
