On Saturday, August 6, 2022 Unieros hosted a Jamaica 60th Independence Celebration in Savannah Georgia.
The event featured food, reggae music, speaker and food. Held on the terrace at The Beach Institute African American Cultural Center, the event was the first of its kind in Savannah.
The event included full Jamaican meal for attendees and educational booth that showcased the historical connections between Jamaica and Savannah, Georgia.
